Cribl Pack Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 11, 2026

Summary: Data Tap is a live-capture pack that runs entirely within your Cribl Stream deployment. Samples are captured and inspected on your own infrastructure. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any of your data.
We Do Not Sell Your Data: DataDay Technology Solutions does not sell, rent, lease, or otherwise monetize any user data, personal information, or telemetry from this product. We never have and never will sell your data to third parties.

How Data Tap Works

Data Tap lets you sample and inspect data in-flight without disrupting pipelines:

  • In-Deployment Capture: Samples are taken and stored on your Cribl Stream workers
  • Your Data, Your Control: Captures live where you configure them and can be deleted by you at any time
  • No External Connections: The pack makes no calls to external servers or APIs
  • No Telemetry: We do not collect usage statistics, analytics, or any telemetry

Data Storage

All captured data stays within your Cribl deployment:

  • Samples: Stored on your Cribl workers at the locations you configure
  • Pack Configuration: Stored in your Cribl Stream configuration

DataDay Technology Solutions has no access to any of this data.
